
A tour which includes the historic and very beautiful city of Norwich, plus a nostalgic steam hauled trip through unspoilt Norfolk countryside, together with a cruise on the picturesque Broads.
Our base for the next three nights is at the Ramada Norwich hotel situated just 1.5 miles from the centre of Norwich, with its ancient castle and cathedral. Each bedroom has contemporary furniture in light or dark word and a bright and fresh ensuite bathroom and Flat screen TV’s. There is an indoor heated pool, sauna and spa bath and a gym. There is no lift but ground floor rooms are available.
Day One – We travel to our hotel stopping en route for refreshments and arriving at Cromer in time to settle in before our Evening meal.
Day Two – Morning guided tour of the city of Norwich including a visit to the famous Colmans Mustard Shop. The tour is a combination of coach sightseeing and gentle walking. Enjoy an afternoon beside the seaside with a trip to the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth, with its “Golden Mile” of attractions.
Day Three - Excursion aboard the Bure Valley Steam Railway to the capital of the Broads at Wroxham. The Bure Valley Railway is Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge steam railway. Upon arrival in Wroxham, transfer to Wroxham Bridge for a leisurely Broads Cruise. An afternoon visit to the Broadland Conservation Centre for an interesting introductory talk on the Norfolk Broads. Time afterwards for an easy stroll amidst lovely surroundings.
Day Four – Travel homeward today.
