Blackpool Illuminations sees this seaside city of fun still buzzing with excitement and laughter long after other resorts have gone into winter hibernation. At 10 kilometres long and using over one million bulbs the Illuminations are an awesome spectacle and consists of almost every kind of light display you can imagine; lasers, neon, light bulbs, fibre optics, searchlights and floodlighting.
Our stay is at The Hilton situated on the North Promenade in Blackpool overlooking the sea and famous promenade. All bedrooms are ensuite with most of them offering 32 inch LCD flat screen TV. The heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room will help make sure you are relaxed after a day by the sea.
FRIDAY We depart our local area travelling via Gloucester and joining the motorway network
Blackpool arriving in time to wander around Blackpool before Evening Meal .
SATURDAY Free day in Blackpool and coach tour of Blackpool lights after Evening Meal.
SUNDAY After breakfast a visit to Trafford Shopping Centre, Manchester for a great shopping
Experience before arriving back in our local area early evening.
