
Take the ferry across to Dunoon and Cowal in Argyll and come experience the unparalleled scenery, the historic locations, the friendly people and the exciting activites that will make your visit a memorable one. The unspoiled Cowal Peninsula retains a unique Scottish identity that is reflected in its towns and villages, its arts and crafts. If you like love lochs, glens, sea, mountains and forests you will find them in abundance in this beautiful part of the world.
Our hotel is based on the West Bay Promenade, The Esplanade, offering comfortable, well appointed bedrooms with private facilities, remote colour TV, direct dial telephone and tea making facilities. There is also a lift. There is entertainment most nights including a traditional Scottish evening of pipers, highland dancers and accordion player, a great night to be had by all.
Day One – Morning departure to travel northwards stopping en route for refreshments and arriving in time for our short ferry crossing to Dunoon and the Esplanade Hotel.
Day Two – A full day tour including the services of our local guide, by popular demand from our last trip, taking a journey through the Trossachs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, especially in the autumn. There will also be a visit to the attractive village of Callander.
Day Four – At leisure in Dunoon.
Day Five – Today there will be a mystery tour with the services of our local guide.
Day Six – After breakfast we travel southwards stopping en route for refreshments arriving back in our local area early evening.
